Now we need to continue this struggle to overturn his wrongful conviction and incarceration!! \nWe will be gathering on the corner of 17th Street and Union Square East (Park Avenue South) in Manhattan starting at 5:30 AM on Friday\, December 16\, 2022\, planning to depart at about 6 AM to travel to and from a major rally in Philadelphia for Mumia Abu-Jamal!! \nDue to the ongoing public health crisis\, we ask that everyone plan to get a COVID test 2 to 5 days before the trip\, in solidarity with each other\, and plan to remain masked while in the vehicles. We also ask that everyone plan to get a COVID test 2 to 5 days before the trip\, in solidarity with each other\, and plan to remain masked while in the vehicles. We are therefore asking for a $50 donation to cover the costs of arranging the event transportation. DESCRIPTION:Buses\, vans\, and other transportation are available from New York City to Philadelphia on April 24th meeting at 10 AM at the northeast corner of Union Square (17th Street and Park Avenue) and departing shortly thereafter. \nDue to COVID restrictions\, seating will be less than half normal capacity and therefore advanced reservations are required. Please call the Free Mumia hotline at 212.330.8029 or email bus@freemumia.com to arrange a reservation. \nSince this will be more expensive than usual\, we are asking people who can afford it to pay $50 for the roundtrip.
