NOV 1: Get on the NYC bus to the annual Black is Back rally and march on the White House
GET ON THE BUS
Saturday, November 1, 2025

The Black is Back Coalition (BIBC) annual rally and march on the White House has arranged a one-day November 1st roundtrip charter bus from and back to the New York and Newark areas to and from the Washington, DC rally at Malcolm X Park (Meridian Hill Park).
The rally will be followed by a march to the White House.
The bus will then be meeting us to return to the Newark and NYC area near the White House around 4:00 PM.
Assisting in the bus arrangements are:
- the Hands Off Uhuru organization
- the Free Mumia Abu-Jamal Coalition NYC
- the New Abolitionist Movement (in memory of
Ralph Poynter, presente, chair of the
BIBC Political Prisoners Working Committee)
Please use the links below (in the following format):
“<LOCATION> bus ticket or scholarship”
to purchase a bus ticket or donate a scholarship for those who cannot afford the full price.
You can request a full or partial scholarship by calling either the BIB Hotline at (862) 462-4091 or the Free Mumia Abu-Jamal Coalition Hotline at (212) 330-8029 and leaving a message with your contact information. Someone will return your message to arrange the details.
You can also come to one of the boarding locations at the appropriate loading time on November 1st on a standby basis, and we will attempt to accommodate you.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Because of the limitations of the bus rental, we will be returning that night only to Newark City Hall and to Union Square in Manhattan. Please let us know if you need further assistance from Union Square back to Brooklyn or anywhere else in NYC. We will work to arrange this with you individually.
No one should fail to join us
because of the cost.
Even with a reservation, we cannot wait past the boarding times. It is unfair to your comrades traveling to the rally who also need to be able to get back home at a reasonable time.
This is why you need to provide a cell phone number and emergency contact number – or agree to have someone who can provide this information to “buddy up with” at the event.
