Mumia wins 2012 Frantz Fanon Prize
The Free Mumia Abu-Jamal Coalition NYC and International Concerned Family and Friends of Mumia Abu-Jamal are very pleased and excited to announce that Mumia Abu-Jamal was recently awarded the 2012 Frantz Fanon Prize.
On Sunday February 26th, at a ceremony in Paris France, Mumia’s brother Keith Cook (see pictures below) accepted the award on his behalf.
The annual prize is awarded by the Frantz Fanon Foundation, and is inspired by the life and struggle of Martinique’s great writer, philosopher, and revolutionary Frantz Fanon.
