Dec. 11, 2021, Rally for Mumia!

Bob Lederer (OUT-FM) joins  What’s Happening? host Betty Davis, revolutionary leader on political prisoners and community control (especially of public education), in the first of several rebroadcasts of the original Tuesday, October 29, 2024 interview.

In addition, the rebroadcast will include excerpts from a presentation by Mutaqee Akbar (“Uhuru 3” attorney and Florida NAACP leader) on the history of U.S. government repression of the Black Liberation Movement, covering Marcus Garvey, W.E.B. DuBois, Paul Robeson, and the Black Panther Party, up through the current Uhuru 3 case.

Bob Lederer (OUT-FM) joins Equal Rights & Justice host Mimi Rosenberg, Brooklyn Legal Aid housing attorney and activist, in another rebroadcast of the original Tuesday, October 29, 2024 interview.

In addition, this version will include updates on the recent December 9th rally in Philadelphia (and worldwide) for Mumia Abu-Jamal and (we hope) Mumia live on the role of journalism in giving voice to those targeted by the prison-industrial complex, as well as the ongoing movement for independent journalism during Trump’s expected neofascist regime.
