Our beloved comrade and brother, Sundiata Sadiq, joined the ancestors on Friday, January 29th of this year. The Muslim burial took place the following Monday, and we are now preparing for a proper tribute and celebration of the life of our fallen warrior.
Organizations and individuals are invited to send pictures, picture displays, or written tributes. These will be prominently displayed at the church if you send them to us in advance to:

Many people have called and asked if they can help so we offer the following but in no way want anyone to feel obligated. White flowers can be sent or brought to the event, preferably in a vase. And financial contributions to defray the costs of this tribute are also welcome.

As many of you are aware, the Left Forum is scheduled for the weekend of May 20, 21, and 22. We have limited this tribute to one conference slot, Saturday afternoon from 1 to 4:30. You can attend the morning and evening sessions and still attend the Sundiata Sadiq celebration. Please keep that timing in mind when you plan for that Saturday. We appreciate all the efforts participants in the Forum have gone to in order to avoid a conflict. We would appreciate your sharing this information with others who will be attending the Left Forum.
We look forward to sharing our stories and our love for Sundiata in a warm community that is grieving its loss but will be celebrating his life and contributions.
