UE1110 Solidarity Statement

The Free Mumia Abu-Jamal Coalition is in full solidarity with your  
struggle.  We will do whatever we can to publicize it and mobilize  
people for support in the New York metropolitan area.  We note that  
your boss and Bank of America violate their own system's laws in order  
to keep money which is legitimately yours and put it in their own pockets.  
 We also note the injustice of the system which puts an additional $25  
billion of our tax money in Bank of America's pocket.  Finally, we note  
the similarity between your battle and that of ours against a state  
which willingly tramples on its laws in order to murder an innocent  
man, Mumia Abu-Jamal.  Mumia is a political prisoner who in his chosen  
role as a journalist has for a lifetime supported the aspirations and  
struggles of working class and oppressed people.  Moreover, in 1999 he  
went beyond his voice and pen to pass up an opportunity to state his  
case on national television in solidarity with a picket line of  
striking network technicians.

 
 As with our brother Mumia, we believe:  An Injury to One is an  
Injury to All!
